1/This book has been one of my favorites out of the series so far. Going back to previous brothers and their shellans has been a breath of fresh air. Seeing V evolve through the story with Jane was beautiful. He always brings tears to my eyes in a good way. The progression in the storyline with the bigger picture has also been enticing. Making you want to read more and more to learn what’s going to happen. I’d also like to say, even though I enjoy John, it was nice to finally have a book without his viewpoint being half of the story. And can we just say Q needs to stop moping around and tell Blay his feelings already lol. Knowing that their book isn’t next makes me know that it’s going to drag on for another 500+ pages which feels a little excessive but we’ll see how it goes! I am excited to see what happens with Tohr.
2/So much love for this series! This books focus is on Payne, Vhishous’s twin sister. After she gets injured, then paralyzed in a fight with Wrath, there is only one doctor they know who has the experience and expertise to operate on her properly because Jane just can’t do that kind of surgery. The problem is, Manny thinks Jane is dead. How can she possibly go back and get him to come and do the surgery to save her husband’s sister’s life? And what will happen when once again, the vampires are forced into bringing a human into their world? I am so incredibly invested in this series right now, I couldn’t stop reading if you paid me to! 3/I enjoyed reading this book. I feel inlove with the characters. The book is well written and I look forward to reading the next one.
