1/If you’re looking for a simple vacation read with lots of great sex scenes this will appeal. There are many comparisons to Fifty Shades and I believe this is not as poorly written as that series was (I loved the FSOG movies!). This story line is pretty basic and is repeated throughout the book, ending up being tedious by the end (I started skimming about 3/4 through). I would not invest my time in the next installment of the series based on many of the reviews saying it’s more of the same.
2/This is a great book for your book club! You can get lost in this book! You imagine you and your girlfriends are one of the characters in the book. The book is love, romance, friendships and sadness! A great read!
3/ It’s been many years since I’ve visited Gideon Cross and Eva Tramell, and I think I’ve forgotten more than I remember so it’s been great revisiting them. I enjoy getting to know them all over again.
They put the fun is dysfunctional but with it also comes a boatload of baggage and heartache. Sometimes I would root for them, and on several occasions, it was against them. They are both incredibly broken with pasts containing horrific abuse. Their solution for fixing things may be unhealthy, but boy, is it HOT! I also like that they are very adventurous with the locales for their tête-à-têtes.
I really should add this to my personal library, but I’ve again borrowed it from the library. I will be reading the next book in their story soon. Very soon!
