1/Pestilence was definitely more for me. But I still enjoyed this book, sometimes I felt like there couldn’t be a solution in this story, but it did finally come, just dragged a bit more than the 1st novel in the series.
Still dark, still a solid story, still felt lots of feels.
Not gonna lie- Famine is up next but I am eagerly awaiting Thanatos.. can’t wait!
2/An epic story of loss, humanity, betrayal and love. Miriam is a fantastic portrayal of strength and bravery. War is everything you expect war to be, only multiplied by a thousand. Gorgeous and deadly. How does one defeat War, one of the actual four horsemen of the apocalypse?
Great read. You do not need to read the first book, but it sets a timeline that’s easier to follow if you do. There is violence depicted as one would expect from a story about War and the apocalypse. There are some sexy scenes as well, but nothing extraordinarily graphic.
3/Such a good story line and character building, but it’s almost repetitive from the first one, different story but same outcome. I was hoping she would include some of the other story in this, maybe character updates or something. I want to finish the series but I’m worried each of the next two books will be similar.
