1/Quick read, like a guilty pleasure. Good start to a new series.
At the age of 18, Emilia and Vittoria have heard countless stories of the Curse, witches and the Wicked from their Nonna.
It’s pretty easy to deduct the culprit – though I did enjoy the story. The sexual tension between Wrath and Emilia is enjoyable – but also very frustrating.
I am definitely reading the next in the series.
2/This book certainly grabs you in the beginning with the cooking at the family Sea and Vine restaurant and then quickly takes a turn to some very interesting and unusually genre related events. Wrath sounds sexy. Emilia is strong and evolves over the books, she doesn’t stay stagnant. There are so many secrets left to be uncovered with every flip of the page. Truly an amazing read. Halfway through the last book and I’m eager to see how it ends. Highly recommend!
3/After the death of her beloved twin sister, Emilia vows to find what happened to Vitorra and finds herself dealing with the Wicked , dark magic, mythical creatures and an old prophecy.
I loved the world building in this book! The fact that there are witches, demons, vampires and werewolves is really cool and the author executed it very well .
The story was a bit slow to get into but once the action got going it was GOOD! The plot was AMAZING and the last two chapters were magic packed and revealed a big revelation. I loved Wrath, Nonna -of course- and though Emilia took some time to get used to, she grew on me towards the end of the book.
It ends somewhat on a cliffhanger but I cannot wait to read KOTC and see Emilia in Hell and how she deals with all the seven princes!
