1/I really don’t know how to feel right now! I loved it. Royalty, dragons, inclusivity. All of it was great. Even though the book was 800 pages long, I truly feel like this shouldn’t have been a stand alone. This story line most definitely could have been broken up between several books. I was a little disappointed in the end and how quickly things happened and wrapped up.
It took a long time for the world building in the beginning and found myself trying to remember all of the connections since there was so much back and forth between the East, West, and South. Once the plot was more established it was easier to follow the different characters!
Overall rating is most definitely 4 stars. Once you get to know the characters you really feel for the things they’re going through!

3/While i loved this story the narrator deviated from the text a bit and I found it quite annoying . I recommend a physical read of the book first and use of the audio book for rereading purposes if desired.
