1/In everyday life sometimes you get wrapped up in a lot more doo doo than is necessary. This book is about discerning what you don’t need to waste your life energy on. Some things, some people, problems just can’t be fixed by you.
2/Maybe I just came across this book at the right time in my life, but it has become my go to book. I recommend it to everyone, I have gifted it to friends and family, I come back and find myself highlighting new sections. A great read.
3/Does the author of this book really want us to feel bad that he got caught bringing drugs to school which caused him to be grounded, lost friends, and expelled from school? As he writes about consequences having actions, he never once owns this mistake and admits what he did was wrong. But he did have plenty of time to write papers about abortion because “I knew my English teacher was a hardcore conservative Christian.” Who would have thought the idea of not killing babies was “hardcore.”
