1/The twists and turns will leave you wanting more. How can their love endure the trials they must go through? Lou and Reid love each other but it is hard to tell if their differences will drive them apart or their enemies. Hope fully they will get a happy ending.
2/Overall, I loved this book. I loved the characters the development – characters and plot – but there were moments I felt like I just wanted to rush past it. Everything in the book contained an important point. I just did not find myself liking this one as much as the first one. Still adored every bit of it though. Excited to continue and for a resolve.
3/The second book in the trilogy did not disappoint. Though the plot was typical in their hunt for allies in a war against the evil queen, the characters made the trip seem entirely new. At times, Reid was frustratingly difficult in his stubborn and rigid values and I did not like him with Lou. Towards the end he seemed to get his head out of his ass, so I’m hoping he doesn’t disappoint in the final book.
