1/This book is the best I’ve ever read on understanding classical depression and anxiety. The author explores causes (social, biological, and psychological/environmental) based on the best available current science (including neuroscience), philosophy and his own personal experiences. He explains various methods that succeed and others that fail to mitigate long term effects. And more impressive; for each approach why it works or why it does not.
2/This is an excellent book. Author did a lot of research. You can find him on you tube also. Helped me make some decisions in my life. Still have my ups and downs. But can deal with them better. A must read for ones who live with someone with depression to help you understand.
3/While I also appreciate the convenience and nice features of a eBook, I will always be a “real” book addict. And I love the idea that there are folks out there saving gently used books so others can enjoy them and less books need to be printed.
