1/Thinking that Z’s book was difficult to get through then reading this one again and honestly this book is actually the hardest to get through. It is also the transition to the next four to six books. Considering that the next book to come out at this time is Lassiter and knowing what comes next I am dreading yet wanting to continue rereading the series.
2/So, I like this series a bunch. I’m all about a good paranormal urban fantasy. However. Phury was annoying as all get out in the prior novels and in this one too. I understand the complications and such, but I would really have liked to kick him where the sun doesn’t shine more than a few times.
I hope the future novels show a difference in personality and behavior.
3/The way the author connected to the story was beyond amazing. There are no words to describe her talents. The read makes happy, sad, mad, excited … Amazing
