1/I loved the trilogy and the first two books were very entertaining, specially with the plot twists. But this one was a bit predictable. The book was used but in great condition
2/Okay, first things first. The writing was excellent, the plot interesting, lots of twists and betrayals and action. Alas though, as all this was going on….I found myself having nobody to root for. Madoc wants the crown, so does the queen of the Sea, Cardan, and Jude in a way, but…they’re ALL bad. I could care less who comes out on top, because either way, they’re all evil. And JUST when Jude lets her guard down is when Cardan strikes. After she saved him time and time again.
I love Jude but, this girl is stupid lol
I cannot believe she still gives Tayrn and Locke the time of day, let alone her murderous adoptive father and Cardan, her constant tormentor in the past. Who still would torment her if he could, which he proves. So yeah….
Nobody good for the throne and Jude being a dummy doesn’t really make me care what happens to the faerie world. In fact, if I was her I probably wouldn’t mind it self destructing. Less faerie around to torture innocent humans haha
And I will never understand people who ship Jude and Cardan as a couple. They dont have love, they have physical attraction. Nothing about them is romanic and the one 2 romantic moments Cardan did pull off were fake so….yeah. Jude deserves betterĀ
Hope she gets payback in book three or I don’t get the point of this series of villains lol
3/Quick read. Interesting characters and world. The story grows more exciting in book two and the author kept me guessing as to what might happen next.
