1/Now that I have neglected my duties for 3 days as I DEVOURED this book….I probably won’t be able to sleep for 3 more. I haven’t read something this good in forever! I COULDN’T put it down, hour after hour, my thumb cramping from swiping to turn pages, no words! The suspense and creativity is brilliant! Excuse me while I go find another book to gobble up by Colleen!
2/What a crazy ride. That was one crazy woman. Could not put the book down. Very entertaining. I thought the sex talk was a bit much. It felt like I was reading 50 shades.
3/Whoa…what did I just read? First of all I had a bit of a love/hate relationship with Jeremy. I can’t say why without writing a spoiler. Then there’s Lowen. I still don’t know what to think of her. Verity, Verity, Verity… Will the real Verity please stand up? Like literally. This book gripped me from the start. For some wonderful writing reasons I couldn’t trust any of the characters from the beginning and really to the end. Over the top sinister and a brilliant plot just propelled me through this story to the shocking, twisted end where the truth is revealed. Kinda, sorta, maybe. I’m loving that I’m not sure. If you’re A fan of domestic suspense this is not one you want to pass by. Congratulations Ms. Hoover., you snagged a new fan. 4.5 stars but I’ll round up to 5.
