1/I think I had this book recommended to me when I listened to “The Rationale Male”. That book was shorter and more interesting than this one. The author deserves credit in that he does not alligator arm the topic in any way. I am impressed with the amount of material presented in this book. The reason for the 3 star rating isn’t the effort or professionalism – it was more a reflection of how pedantic the topic became as I slogged through the chapters. This book reminded me of “The 40 Rules of Power” in that many of the topics contradict one another and you are left with the impression that seduction is simply a matter of casting your lines far and wide and being an effective opportunist. There’s nothing wrong with that I suppose, but the stories presented in this book left me thinking an awful lot of the character Sammy in the Adam Sandler movie “The Wedding Singer”.
2/Most of the stuff is very informative and well written/spoken however as the tittle says for this review not all applicable in modern day
3/Thank you Robert Greene. I finally have the tools necessary to sniff the super model cooch so often out of my reach. Beyond the carnal applications (which there are many) the skills in this book help me seduce my local MTA booth attendant into looking the other way as I hop the turnstile, granting me free passage to the free clinic so I can get this rash checked out after a night with the aforementioned super model but who assured me it’s probably just chafing due to my god like vigor in making love. Tears are streaming down my face as I envision using my new found talent to acquire extra packets of sauce at restaurants and the like :,) THANK YOU ROBERT GREENE!!!
