2/TBH I lost all interest in my initial plan to jump into the “Jack Reacher” world after the Tom Cruise movies. Nothing against Cruise, but, his Reacher didn’t strike me as a character who could carry an entire book series.
But, after the Reacher TV series, with an actor who seemed to embody the role better, I figured I would try again.
Wow….I should have done this sooner. I couldn’t put this book down, and I already have the next queued up. It’s not often a book has me on edge, because I’m old, cranky and jaded. I typically see plots coming from a mile off. Not so, this….
Granted, only a crazy person like me would avoid reading a series due to a movie casting… but only a crazy person like me would admit my original craziness was way off base.
3/Too bad for the author that everyone paying attention now understands the FBI are the real bad guys and America really has been taken over by Communists.
