3/Talk about a slow burn…this one takes a while to get cooking. The narrator is fine, but the story itself is just too long. Some themes are hammered over and over until it almost gets annoying. Alice is…I don’t even know what she is but she doesn’t stop getting on my nerves until about mid-story…6 whole hours in. I kept listening because I was thinking that there has to be a point somewhere. My favorite characters were the new ones.
